Ulterion® 150 WD by Ulterion International acts as a lubricant. Sulfonated castor oil. It is also known as "Turkey Red Oil". It is completely dispersible in water. It is used in a variety of applications where lubrication-, softness- and release properties are desired. Imparts uniformity to latex coatings. Ulterion® 150 WD is used in paper coatings. Ulterion® 120 WD by Ulterion International is 100% active coating lubricant designed specifically to improve the runnability of high speed coating systems by imparting lubricity. It is dispersible in water and provides uniformity to water coatings. Eliminates coating problems like streaking, whiskering, blade weeping and can picking. Recommended for paper coating and textile processing. Its unique molecular composition imparts rheological and water holding characteristics to all types of paper coatings and sizing formulations. The dosage rate of Ulterion® 120 WD is 0.75 – 1.0 % based on pigment solids for coatings and 0.5-1.0 % based on solids of starch or binder system. It should be added during pigment dispersion for pigmented coatings. Ulterion® XF-284 by Ulterion International is an effective, water dispersible, non-ionic oil based defoamer. It is highly compatible and stable in most standard coating as well as sizing formulations and will not cause film craters and fisheyes when used at moderate levels. Used in paper coatings, textile coatings, water-based flexo- and gravure inks. Ulterion® XF-284 is normally used at 0.02 to 0.1% based upon total formulation weight.
