About Ulterion International

Founded in 2001 and headquartered in Taylors, South Carolina, USA, Ulterion International (a Jain Chem brand since 2011) develops functional polymers and sustainable coatings for packaging, textile, and paper applications. Products use up to 95% recycled and renewable raw materials, replacing fluorochemicals and polyethylene in food-contact packaging. Its coatings portfolio includes defoamers, flame retardants, lubricants, polyester resins, and prepolymers/polyols. All products are FDA-approved and Prop 65 compliant.

AVOX™ ARP-40

100% Hot melt polyester copolymer made primarily from recycled polyester terephthalate. Used in low temperature applications including textile back coatings, asphalt replacement coatings and tie-coat primers. Recommended to be stored in dry locations.

AVOX™ 380 PS

Aromatic polyester polyol. It is made from recycled and renewable resources. Economical to use and highly functional. Allows for higher strength values and less overall chemical usage. Applications include urethane coatings. Dispersions of AVOX™ 380 PS should be stored between 20°C and 35°C to insure maximum shelf life.

Quench™ PLD

Phosphorus based non-halogen flame retardant with high phosphorus content. Can be used in water-borne coating system. Used with formulating materials like acrylic and urethane thickeners. Recommended for back-coatings. The typical dosage rate is 10-15% of latex formula.
