ROHAGIT™ SD 9523 by Synthomer is an anionic water-based dispersion of a butadiene acrylate copolymer. It acts as a thickener and is activated by increasing the pH from below neutral to about pH 9.0 or above.<br>
<ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It gives excellent pseudoplastic (shear thinning) properties to anionic and non-ionic systems.</li>
<li>Its advantages include easy to use liquid form, high stability, excellent efficiency, rapid thickening and resistance to synaeresis.</li>
<li>It imparts good anti-slump properties and maintains good wet strength in membrane applications.</li>
<li>It is suitable for use in coatings.</li>
<li>ROHAGIT™ SD 9523 has a shelf life of 12 months.</li></ul> ROHAGIT™ SD 15 by Synthomer is an aqueous dispersion of a thermoplastic methacrylic acid-acrylic ester copolymer. Acts as a thickening agent for polymer dispersions and other aqueous systems. The dispersion is free from film forming aids, solvents, and plasticizers.<br>
<ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It offers UV stability and is insoluble in water and resistant to many acids and alkalis.</li>
<li>ROHAGIT™ SD 15 is used in non-pigmented systems like manufacturing coatings, and printing compounds of the textile industry and in pigmented products like dispersion-based paints.</li>
<li>ROHAGIT™ SD 15 has a shelf life of 12 months.</li></ul> ROHAGIT A 220 D by Synthomer is an ammonium salt of acrylic polymer. It is a highly efficient, low viscosity dispersing additive. It is suitable for water-borne coatings. <br> <ul style="padding-left: 40px;">
<li> It improves storage stability in both pigment dispersion and formulated paint. </li>
<li> It releases ammonia during drying process, causing little impact on water- and alkaline resistance of dry film. </li>
<li> Its recommended usage level is 0.3-2.0%. </li>
<li> ROHAGIT A 220 D is suitable for aqueous-based coatings. </li>
<li> It has a shelf life of 6 months when stored at a temperature between 5-35°C. </li></ul> ROHAGIT™ SD 40 by Synthomer is a thermoplastic methacrylic acid-acrylic ester copolymer. It is UV stable, universal thickening agent for polymer dispersions and other aqueous systems with a pH value 7.5. It is free from film forming aids, solvents and plasticizers. It contains a preservative to counter microbial attack during transportation. ROHAGIT™ SD 40 is used in non-pigmented or pigmented products like dispersion-based paints and plasters. For thickening with stock solution ROHAGIT SD 40 is diluted with water to a solids content of 9 - 10%. It has a shelf life of 12 months.
