Chemigum® Latex 550 by Synthomer is an anionic aqueous dispersion of carboxylated butadiene-acrylonitrile copolymer. It offers high tensile strength, tear and elongation properties. It shows resistance to oil-based fluids, abrasion, solvent, animal fat, heat aging, hydrocarbon and oil. It can be cross-linked with melamine-formaldehyde resins or zinc oxide. Chemigum® Latex 550 is used in fabric coatings. It has a shelf life of 6 months. Chemigum® Latex 6387 by Synthomer is an anionic, pre-crosslinked, aqueous dispersion of a butadiene-acrylonitrile copolymer containing a non-discoloring antioxidant. It offers resistance to hydrocarbons, oils, plasticizers, solvents and animal fats. It contains an antioxidant that imparts good heat aging resistance. Chemigum® Latex 6387 is suitable for primers. The shelf life is 12 months.
