Aqueous emulsion of a self-crosslinking styrene-butadiene-acrylonitrile copolymer. Has boil-proof, dry-cleanable finishing and reinforcement properties. It is a functional polymer. Forms a transparent film which is slightly yellow at room temperature. The crosslinked film is very hard and brittle at room temperature, insoluble in water and resistant to many acids and alkalis. It is virtually insoluble in organic solvents. Applications in printing and coating compounds. Recommended for textiles and non-woven fabrics.
