Picassian® XL-709

Picassian® XL-709 by Stahl is melamine. It acts as a crosslinking agent for water-based dispersions specially for polyurethanes and acrylics. It emits low-VOC. It offers high reactivity, improved water- & solvent resistance and very good compatibility. Picassian® XL-709 is suitable for very hard and scratch resistant coating surfaces. The dosage level of the grade is 3-10%.

Picassian® PU-555

Picassian® PU-555 by Stahl is a non-reactive, film forming, aliphatic polyether modified polyurethane resin. It is tin-free and toluene diisocyanate (TDI)-free. Exhibits good film forming properties, excellent press behavior and low tackiness. It is soluble in alcohol rich mixtures and is fully compatible with alcohol soluble nitrocellulose. It can be solvent blended with ethyl acetate/ ethanol. Picassian® PU-555 is recommended for printing on common flexible packaging films like polyester, polyolefin, aluminium foil & metallized films and high performance gravure ink applications.

Picassian® PU-518

Picassian® PU-518 by Stahl is a non-reactive, high molecular weight, semi-aliphatic polyether modified polyurethane resin. It is tin-free and toluene diisocyanate (TDI)-free. Exhibits good adhesion on aluminum foil, good film forming properties, good flexiblility and low tackiness. It forms films with fast solvent release. It can be solvent blended with ethyl acetate/ethanol. Picassian® PU-518 is recommended for flexo & gravure inks with excellent press behavior for printing on common flexible packaging films like polyolefins, PET, aluminium foil and metallized film applications.

Picassian® PU-652

Aliphatic polyether urethane. It is water-based, solvent-free, anionic dispersion. Exhibits low water absorption and excellent coverage and filling properties. Possesses good hydrolysis resistance and maintains flexibility at -30°C. It is crosslinkable at room temperature with azidirine or carbodiimides. It is used in wood coatings and leather basecoats.

Picassian® PU-538

Picassian® PU-538 by Stahl is a non-reactive, film forming, aliphatic polyether modified polyurethane resin. It is tin- and TDI free grade. It is suitable for lamination and external printing. It offers film forming, low tackiness and high chemical resistance. It shows good compatibility with alcohol soluble nitrocellulose. Picassian® PU-538 exhibits excellent press behavior for printing on common flexible packaging films like polyester, polyolefin, aluminum foil and metalized films. It is recommended for flexo- and gravure inks.

Picassian® PU-547

Picassian® PU-547 by Stahl is a film forming, aliphatic, polyester modified polyurethane resin. Exhibits excellent adhesion, excellent oil resistance and excellent retort resistance. Offers excellent dispersing properties, excellent wetting properties, excellent flowing properties, good flexibility and very good blocking resistance. It is hydroxy and amino functional. It yields tack free films. It can be solvent blended with ethyl acetate/isopropyl alcohol (IPA). Picassian® PU-547 is recommended for printing plastic films like polypropylene (OPP), polyester (PET) & nylon (NY) after superficial treatment and sole binder ink applications.

Picassian® XL-762

Picassian® XL-762 by Stahl is a VOC- and label-free carbodiimide crosslinker. Improves resistance to chemicals, wear and abrasion. Ideal for paints and coatings due to its high reactivity and excellent performance. It contains additional reactive groups which react towards functional groups in the resin or corresponding groups. It is much less sensitive to the presence of water and able to achieve long pot-life upto several weeks. It reduces the environmental footprint. Picassian® XL-762 is Swiss Ordinance approved for indirect food contact.
