SONGSORB® CS 329 by Songwon is a 2-(2H-benzotriazol-2-yl)-4-(1,1,3,3-tetramethylbutyl)phenol. Acts as a strong absorber of ultraviolet radiation in the 300~400nm region. Has a high degree of photostability - photochemical energy absorbed in the ultraviolet region is dissipated as thermal energy. Readily soluble in a wide range of organic solvents that shows low volatility during high processing temperature and good extraction resistance. It can be used in combination with phenolic & phosphite antioxidants, and HALS to optimize performance in outdoor use. SONGSORB® CS 329 is particularly suitable for light stabilizing in coatings, propylene, polyurethane and polyvinyl chloride. It is listed on AICS, DSL, IECSC, ENCS, NZIOC, ECL, EINECS, TSCA and PICCS inventories. SONGSORB® CS 81 by Songwon is a 2-hydroxy-4-n-octoxybenzophenone. Acts as a solid UV absorber. It absorbs ultraviolet radiation in the 240~340nm region. Significantly improves the resistance of clear coating against discoloration, cracking, loss of gloss and loss of adhesion. Exhibits synergy with HALS. For better long-term performance, use of UVAs of the benzotriazole type is recommended. Shows excellent solubility and compatibility with high solid coatings formulations. SONGSORB® CS 81 is mainly used in applications where lower requirements on long-term stability are given. It is listed on AICS, DSL, IECSC, ENCS, NZIOC, ECL, EINECS, TSCA and PICCS inventories. SONGSORB® CS 928 by Songwon acts as a strong absorber of ultraviolet radiation. Provides efficient protection to coatings and light sensitive substrates, excellent solubility and high thermal and environmental performance, which makes it especially suitable for coatings exposed to high temperature curing processes. Synergistic combinations impart coating protection against gloss reduction, cracking, blistering, delamination and color change. SONGSORB® CS 928 can be used in clear coats, base coats, top coats or solid shades and ideal for automotive coatings and powder & coil coatings. SONGSORB® CS 622 by Songwon is a polymer of dimethyl succinate and 4-hydroxy-2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-1-piperidine ethanol. Is a polymeric hindered amine light stabilizer (HALS) of N-R type and also acts as an antioxidant. It contributes to the long-term heat stability of polyolefins. It has oligomeric structure with high molecular weight is the stabilizer of choice for application demanding low volatility and minimal migration. Protects coatings from surface defects such as gloss reduction, cracking and chalking and ensures the retention of mechanical properties. SONGSORB® CS 622 meets high performance and durability requirements of all powder coatings. It is listed on AICS, DSL, IECSC, ENCS, NZIOC, ECL, EINECS, Switzerland, TSCA and PICCS inventories. SONGSORB® CS 312 by Songwon is N-(2-ethoxyphenyl)-N'-(2-ethylphenyl) ethanediamide. It is a highly effective UV absorber of the oxanilide family. It features strong UV absorption at low wavelengths imparting light stability. It shows low volatility and excellent compatibility with polar substrates. It is less discoloring than conventional UV absorbers, even in alkaline environments and in presence of metal catalyst residues. It can be used in combination with phenolic & phosphite antioxidants, and HALS and optical brighteners without interference to optimize performance especially during outdoor weathering. SONGSORB® CS 312 is used in a broad range of coating applications (powder coating and solvent-borne coatings for automotive, industrial and architectural applications). SONGSORB® CS 144 by Songwon acts as a hindered amine light stabilizer (HALS). It provides considerably prolonged life time to coatings by reducing paint defects such as gloss reduction and cracking. It provides protection against blistering delamination, gloss reduction, color change and cracking in automotive coatings is enhanced. It can also reduce yellowing phenomenon generated by overbake. SONGSORB® CS 144 is recommended for use in automotive coatings, coil coatings and powder coatings. SONGSORB® CS B5438 by Songwon is a solid triazine UV absorber. It is a new stabilizer blend for epoxy systems and offers easy processing. It is designed especially for 2K PU clear coatings.
