FASCAT® 4102 by PMC Group is a catalyst. It is a pale yellow, hydrolytically stable butyltin tris-2-ethylhexanoate. It primarily catalyzes polycondensation and esterification reactions at temperatures between 80-150°C.

It is neutral, non-corrosive, easy to handle and readily disperses in reaction mixtures.

It is known to significantly shorten esterification cycle times compared to uncatalyzed systems.

It can minimize side reactions such as ether formation from polyhydric alcohols.

It is designed to synthesize saturated polyester resins for powder coatings and coil coatings.

FASCAT® 4102 can also be used in the production of aromatic polyester polyols for flexible and rigid PU foam applications.

FASCAT® 4201 by PMC Group acts as catalysts, accelerators and initiators.
It is an active transesterification catalyst for methacrylate esters. It is used in high temperature transesterification reactions for the production of coating resins. It is used in the coatings industry for the preparation of alkyd resins, polyester resins, polyurethanes, epoxy resins, polysiloxane/epoxy hybrids and electrophoretic coatings (e-coat). Compliant with FDA status (21 CFR 175.300, 21 CFR 177.2420, and 21 CFR 175.105) for food contact approval. FASCAT® 4201 has a shelf life of 2 year. Dibutyltin oxide. FASCAT® 9201 by PMC Group acts as a crosslinking catalyst. It is insoluble in water and most common organic solvents. It is an active transesterification catalyst for methacrylate esters. It offers energy savings due to lower reaction temperatures, as well as more efficient use of equipment. Used in select high temperature transesterification reactions for the production of coating resins. It forms a stable dispersion for aqueous coating applications and can significantly shorten transesterification production cycle times for specialty acrylate monomers. Can be used in the coatings industry for the preparation of alkyd resins. Also finds significant use in the aqueous cathodic electrodeposition of urethane coatings for automotive and industrial applications. Compliant with FDA status (21 CFR 175.300, 21 CFR 177.2420, and 21 CFR 175.105.). FASCAT® 4202 by PMC Group is a dibutyltin dilaurate-based crosslinking catalyst. It is stable to hydrolysis but will hydrolyze in the presence of aqueous caustic at room temperature. It drives the addition of alcohols with isocyanates to accelerate and complete the formation of urethanes.

It is used in various urethane cross-linking reactions and silanol condensation reactions.

It can be used as a gelling catalyst in the manufacture of polyurethane coatings.

It is used to crosslink 2K urethane systems for automotive, industrial, and refinish coatings.

Dioctyltin oxide. FASCAT® 8201 by PMC Group acts as a crosslinking catalyst. It is insoluble in water and most common organic solvents. It is an active transesterification catalyst for methacrylate esters. It offers energy savings due to lower reaction temperatures, as well as more efficient use of equipment. It forms a stable dispersion for aqueous coating applications and can significantly shorten transesterification production cycle times for specialty acrylate monomers. Used in select high temperature transesterification reactions for the production of coating resins. Also finds significant use in the aqueous cathodic electrodeposition of urethane coatings for automotive and industrial applications. Dibutyltin diacetate. FASCAT® 4200 by PMC Group acts as a crosslinking catalyst. Offers ease of processing and can be used at temperatures up to 250°C. Used in the production of blocked isocyanates for urethane coatings that are used in the automotive OEM market. It is also used to cross-link urethane coating systems for both the automotive and industrial coatings markets. Proprietary butyltin mercaptide compound. FASCAT® 4233 by PMC Group acts as a crosslinking accelerator. It may provide more of a delayed action cure compared to organotin carboxylates such as FASCAT 4202. Used in the curing of polyurethanes. Dibutyltin dichloride. FASCAT® 4210 by PMC Group acts as a crosslinking accelerator. Insoluble in water and soluble in ether, benzene, alcohol, organic esters, and aliphatic hydrocarbons. In solution, it slowly hydrolyzes to an organotin oxide. Used as a precursor for glass coating. Dibutyltin bis(thioglyceride). FASCAT® 4224 by PMC Group acts as a crosslinking catalyst. Works especially well where the coating needs long pot life, but will
cure quickly at elevated temperatures such as a hot mold or oven. It is highly selective for polyurethane system. Exhibits hydrolytic stability found to be useful in waterborne coatings. FASCAT® 8202 by PMC Group is an oily dioctyltin dilaurate liquid. It is used as a gelling catalyst in the manufacture of flexible and rigid polyurethane foams and coatings. This catalyst can be used in various urethane cross-linking reactions and silanol condensation reactions. When FASCAT® 8202 is absorbed on silica it can cross-link two-component urethane coating systems for the automotive, industrial and refinish coatings. It is stable to hydrolysis but will hydrolyze in the presence of aqueous caustic at room temperature.
