FASCAT® 4102

FASCAT® 4102 by PMC Group is a catalyst. It is a pale yellow, hydrolytically stable butyltin tris-2-ethylhexanoate. It primarily catalyzes polycondensation and esterification reactions at temperatures between 80-150°C.<br> <ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li> It is neutral, non-corrosive, easy to handle and readily disperses in reaction mixtures.</li> <li> It is known to significantly shorten esterification cycle times compared to uncatalyzed systems.</li> <li> It can minimize side reactions such as ether formation from polyhydric alcohols.</li> <li> It is designed to synthesize saturated polyester resins for powder coatings and coil coatings.</li> <li> FASCAT® 4102 can also be used in the production of aromatic polyester polyols for flexible and rigid PU foam applications. </li> </ul>
