Thermoplastic glycerol ester of rosin. It delivers light initial color and product stability. Possesses good color stability, low acid number and low odor. Shows broad solubility and wide compatibility range. Used as resin modifier. Glycerol ester of partially dimerized rosin. It is hard, thermoplastic resin. Delivers good initial color and shows oxidation resistance, good solution properties and emulsion stability, broad solubility and compatibility ranges. It promotes hardness and water resistance. Used as modifier for lacquers and varnishes.
