Silblock™ F Polysiloxane Emulsion by Momentive Performance Materials is a low VOC, durable, water-borne, solvent-free polysiloxane. Acts as a masonry water repellent. Provides improved color retention and reduced chalking after weathering. Designed for primers, and water-borne exterior and interior architectural paints. It can be added in the letdown stage during paint manufacturing. Paints formulated with Silblock™ F Polysiloxane Emulsion exhibit improved resistance to UV, water, alkali and efflorescence. The recommended dosage ranges from 1-3%.
