Silquest™ A-1871 Silane by Momentive Performance Materials is an epoxy-functional silane. Acts as an adhesion promoter and crosslinking agent. Designed for water-based coatings applications. Exhibits good tensile strength and water resistance. Provides outstanding chemical resistance and enhanced electrical and mechanical properties. Silquest™ A-1871 Silane is compatible with polysulfide, urethane, epoxy and acrylic resins. Silquest™ A-Link 25 Silane by Momentive Performance Materials is 3-Isocyanatopropyltriethoxysilane. Acts as a crosslinker for one-part moisture-curable urethane coatings and as an adhesion promoter for silicone coatings. Provides adhesion to a variety of substrates and slow hydrolysis for applications requiring greater open time or enhanced shelf stability. It also imparts superior wet adhesion to glass, metal and other inorganic substrates. Silquest™ A-Link 25 Silane offers very good thermal, chemical and UV stability. Silquest™ A-Link 35 Silane by Momentive Performance Materials is 3-Isocyanatopropyltrimethoxysilane. Acts as a crosslinker for one-part moisture-curable urethane coatings and as an adhesion promoter for silicone coatings. Provides adhesion to a variety of substrates, both conventional and unusual. Imparts superior wet adhesion to glass, metal and other inorganic or difficult substrates. Silquest™ A-Link 35 Silane offers fast hydrolysis in the presence of atmospheric moisture, very good thermal, chemical and UV stability. Silquest™ Y-15744 Silane by Momentive Performance Materials is amino-functional silane oligomer. Acts as an adhesion promoter. Possesses moderate hydrophobicity with little impact on the formulation curing rate. Improves wetting properties, even on substrates with low surface tension. It forms strong weather- and moisture-resistant bonds to substrates such as glass and metal. The recommended dosage of Silquest™ Y-15744 Silane is between 0.5 and 1.0% based on the total formulation. Silquest™ A-2120 Silane by Momentive Performance Materials is a diaminofunctional silane which enhances the quality of adhesion in a broad range of latex coating applications. It can also help promote excellent adhesion to inorganic substrates, such as metal glass and plastic. When used as an additive, Silquest™ A-2120 Silane can eliminate the need for any bonding primer. Silquest™ A-178 Silane by Momentive Performance Materials is a moisture-activated cross-linking agent and adhesion promoter. Used in between a wide range of resins, substrates and reinforcements. It is a coupling agent for glass fiber and particulate filler reinforced composites. It is also useful as a monomer in the synthesis of organic polymers. It contains no flammable or combustible solvent. It offers low VOC emissions and glass fiber protection. It improves strand integrity and hygrothermal aging properties. It is reactive with a large number of resin systems, such unsaturated polyester, vinyl ester, acrylic, polybutylene and polyolefins. Silquest™ A-178 Silane is recommended for coating applications. Silquest™ A-171 Silane by Momentive Performance Materials is a silane crosslinking agent for organic polymers. Recommended as a moisture scavenger in moisture cure systems where improved shelf life is desired.<br>

Used in sulfur-cured and metal oxide-cured elastomers for coatings. Improves mineral-filled elastomer properties, including modulus, tensile and tear strength, heat buildup, abrasion resistance, resilience, compression set and cure. Silquest™ A-189 Silane chemically bonds, reinforcing minerals such as silica, clay, mica and talc to the polymer matrix. Silquest™ Y-9627 by Momentive Performance Materials is a secondary amino-functional silane. Acts as an adhesion promoter and coupling agent. It generally affords greater bonding or adhesion promotion to inorganic substrates. Can typically improve shelf stability in various resin systems. Silquest™ Y-9627 offers a fast reaction with moisture, which translates to rapid cure and adhesion build. Silquest™ A-174NT Silane by Momentive Performance Materials acts as an adhesion promoter and coupling agent. It is designed for coatings applications. It bonds to inorganic substrates to provide excellent wet and dry adhesion. Exhibits a fast hydrolysis rate. Silquest™ A-174NT Silane is also compatible with polyesters, polyurethanes, acrylics, PVC and polyolefins.
