Vertal® 7 by Magris Performance Materials is a highly lamellar talc/carbonate mineral pigment. It provides a unique balance of prime pigment spacing (opacity), film reinforcement, anti-cracking and barrier properties to architectural and decorative coatings. Vertal® 7 is suitable for waterborne primers, stain-blocking primers, sealers and undercoaters. It is designed for low-VOC alkyd primers. Vertal® 503 by Magris Performance Materials is a highly lamellar talc/carbonate mineral pigment. It offers a unique balance of prime pigment spacing (opacity), film reinforcement, anti-cracking and barrier properties to architectural and decorative coatings. Vertal® 503 is suitable for waterborne paints and primers where a 5-Hegman, low oil-adsorption, platy mineral pigment is required. Vertal® 77 by Magris Performance Materials is a highly lamellar talc/carbonate mineral pigment. It provides a unique balance of prime pigment spacing (opacity), film reinforcement, anti-cracking and barrier properties to architectural and decorative coatings. Vertal® 77 is suitable for waterborne primers, stain-blocking primers, sealers and undercoaters where a higher brightness and lamellar mineral pigment is required. Vertal® 202 by Magris Performance Materials is a highly lamellar talc/carbonate mineral pigment. It provides a unique balance of prime pigment spacing (opacity), film reinforcement, anti-cracking and barrier properties for architectural and decorative coatings. Vertal® 202 is recommended for architectural flat latex paints, contractor-grade flat latex paints, and high %PVC applications where a higher brightness, 2-hegman, lamellar mineral pigment is required.
