Erkazit™ 4902 E by Lawter is a calcium-, magnesium- and zinc metallized phenolic modified rosin based resinate. Possesses medium viscosity and gives excellent pigment wetting. Exhibits very good block resistance, very fast drying and solvent release. Erkazit™ 4902 E is used in publication gravure inks and grinding varnish. Highly modified hydrocarbon resin. Has the unique property of having a low viscosity and a high dilutability. Is especially advantageous as let down resin. This results in a lower resin content and lower pigment content while maintaining good printing properties. Also used in toluene based publication gravure inks. Erkazit™ 4908 E is used in toluene based publication gravure, grinding varnish and let down varnish. Erkazit™ 7861 E by Lawter is a phenolic modified rosin resin. Contains lower resin and pigment content. Exhibits good printing properties and very high dilutability. Erkazit™ 7861 E is designed for toluene-based publication gravure inks and let down varnish. Erkazit™ 4905 E by Lawter is a phenolic modified rosin based resinate. Exhibits fast drying, good blocking resistance and quick solvent release. Used for pigment grinding, especially for the manufacturing of red, blue and yellow inks. Erkazit™ 4905 E can be used in toluene based publication gravure inks and grinding varnish.
