Water-based acrylic dispersion. Exhibits good adhesion on non-absorbing substrates such as PE, PP and PET. Used in flexographic inks, gravure inks, overprint varnishes and coatings. Fumaric modified rosin ester. Its high melting point promotes fast solvent release and good leveling properties. Is compatible with shellac, manila resins and with most acrylic dispersions and resins. Offers fast water release in aqueous inks, good flexibility, pigment wetting and gloss in aqueous inks. Water based sulfopolyester polymer dispersion. Imparts adhesion, gloss, very low odor, fast drying speed, transparency, rub, and scuff resistance to an ink, coating or primer. Is a stable dispersion that contains no solvent, no foaming or surfactant. Offers good film forming and outstanding lay on aluminum, excellent gloss as well as pigment wetting. Used in flexographic inks, gravure inks for paper, foils and plastics, water based primers, over print varnishes, "green" water based inks and coatings as well as in low odor inks. An aqueous sulfo polyester dispersion containing 30% resin solids. Exhibits adhesion, gloss, low odor, fast drying speed, transparency, rub and scuff resistance to an ink, coating or primer. Can be used as a sole resin in a system, or in combination with a higher Tg sulfo polyester polymer as a plasticizing resin. Used in water-based primers, flexo and gravure inks. Offers pigment wetting, gloss and fast water release in aqueous inks. Provides good flexibility, high rub resistance and low viscosity. Used in flexographic inks, gravure inks, carton inks and specialty inks. Hydro-Rez™ 6500 A is recommended for use in steam set and moisture set. Hydro-Rez™ 655 E by Lawter is a 51% solids water based acrylic dispersion. It is alkyl phenol ether (APE) free. Exhibits excellent resolubility and heat seal resistance. Possesses a high glass transition temperature. Hydro-Rez™ 655 E is used in heat seal lacquers, flexo and gravure inks. An aqueous sulfo polyester resin dispersion. Imparts the adhesion, gloss, low odor, fast drying speed, transparency, alcohol resistance, rub and scuff resistance. Can be used as a sole resin in a system, or as a plasticizing resin in combination with a higher Tg sulfo polyester polymer. Acts as a plasticizer, it improves the film formation in the system, increasing film flexibility and adhesion when used on non-absorbent substrates. Used in water-based gravure and flexo inks, primers as well as coatings. Fumarated rosin ester. The high melting point promotes fast solvent release and good leveling properties. Is compatible with shellac and manila resins. Also serves as a leveling and gloss promoting agent in floor polishes.
