An alcohol soluble fumaric-modified rosin ester. Exhibits high acid value, high softening point with a broad range of solubility and compatibility. Used in flexographic printing inks. Maleic modified rosin ester. Promotes hardness, adhesion and high gloss. Used in flexographic inks, gravure inks and coatings. An alcohol soluble fumaric-modified rosin ester. Possesses good solubility and low viscosity in alcohol and aqueous ammonia solutions, which also contributes to high gloss for overprint varnishes. Exhibits good solubility in aliphatic solvents. Can serve as a good foundation for building sheetfed and heatset systems, especially in high shear as well as in temperature applications. Used in offset inks and coating applications. Filtrez™ 3320 A by Lawter is a maleic modified rosin ester. Used in flexographic inks, gravure inks and coatings. It is compatible with low aromatic solvents and nitrocellulose. Filtrez™ 620 A is a very low viscosity phenolic modified rosin ester. Provides very good pigment wetting properties. Used in offset inks and coatings. Shows very high solubility in both aliphatic ink oils and vegetable oils. Filtrez™ 567 A is an alcohol soluble fumaric-modified rosin ester. Possesses characteristics paralleling acrylic resins with regard to drying, transfer, gloss and water resistance of the dry film. Used in flexographic inks, gravure inks and coatings. Filtrez™ 575 A by Lawter is an alcohol soluble fumaric acid modified rosin ester. It is recommended for solvent- & water-based gravure and flexographic inks. It offers good drying properties, transferability, good gloss and water resistance of the dry film. Filtrez™ 575 A is particularly suitable for non-alcoholic, low VOC inks & coatings. It shows good compatibility with acrylics & waxes and limited compatibility with aromatic-free nitrocellulose systems. It exhibits high softening point and high acid value. Medium viscosity phenolic modified rosin ester. Provides very good pigment wetting properties and good gel reactivity. Used in heatset and sheetfed inks. Filtrez™ 681 A by Lawter is a high molecular weight phenolic modified rosin ester. Has excellent solubility in aliphatic solvents. Provides good pigment wetting properties to compliment other resins for dry grinding and flushing applications. Used in offset inks.

Terrin® polyols produced by INVISTA is a series ofare aliphatic polyester polyol products with a minimum of 50% recycled content. Terrin® polyols are prepared from glycols and a mixture of recycled carboxylic acid-functional monomers comprising mainly adipic acid and 6-hydroxycaproic acid (functionally equivalent to caprolactone).
These products are used in lieu of or in combination with conventional polyether and polyester polyols to formulate various polyurethane products. Terrin® polyols can be used inhigh resilience foams, elastomeric resins and viscoelastic foams.
