Hydroxyl functional polyester resin. Exhibits better color retention and maintains a non-Newtonian rheology providing for a highly structured ink. Reduces misting significantly at low tack levels. Offers very good transfer on high speed presses, good adhesion on metals and good hardness. Used in spindle printing, dry offset, metal deco 2-piece can, colored inks and white inks. Decotherm™ 210 E by Lawter is a 65% hydroxyl functional polyester resin dissolved in TXIB. Exhibits good adhesion on metals, high gloss and very good printability. Decotherm™ 210 E offers good pigment wetting, especially in white. Used in spindle printing, dry offset, metal deco 2-piece can, colored inks and white inks. Decotherm™ 260 E by Lawter is a hydroxyl functional polyester resin dissolved in tripropyleneglycol. Exhibits good adhesion on metals, high gloss and very good transfer on high speed presses. Shows good flow, hardness and pigment wetting. Used in spindle printing, dry offset, metal deco 2-piece can, colored inks and white inks.
