Alpha-Rez™ 9200 E by Lawter is a structured visco-elastic hydrocarbon/ rosin-based hybrid resin. Exhibits high viscosity, solubility and high stability of rheology under high shear conditions. Provides very high gloss and fast setting properties. Possesses a high CTI (Critical Toning Index). Offers very good water balance properties, low misting and low tack. Alpha-Rez™ 9200 E is used in web offset, heatset, coldset, sheetfed, gloss offset, waterless offset and letterpress. Structured visco-elastic hydrocarbon/ rosin-based hybrid resin. Exhibits an excellent gel response to aluminum gelling agents. Gives a lower water pick-up and is very useful as water balance regulator. Has very good pigment wetting properties resulting in inks with high gloss. Used in web offset, heatset, coldset, sheetfed offset, grinding varnishes and letterpress. Alpha-Rez™ 3750 E by Lawter is a medium soluble & viscous, highly modified hydrocarbon resin. Exhibits an excellent gel response to aluminum gelling agents. Gives a lower water pick-up and is very useful as water balance regulator. Has very good pigment wetting properties resulting in inks with high gloss. Alpha-Rez™ 3750 E is used in offset, web offset, heatset, coldset, sheetfed offset and grinding varnishes.
