K-Kat® 5218 by King Industries is an aluminum chelate complex. Used as a catalyst. Offers fast tack free time. Exhibits very good viscosity stability /pot life. Provides very good exterior durability. Imparts effectiveness for both ambient cure and baked systems. K-Kat® 5218 is used for 2-component urethane coatings, automotive topcoats, high performance maintenance coatings, aerospace coatings and coatings for structural plastics. Bismuth complex. Used as a catalyst. Provides improved potlife and high reactivity in force-dried applications compared to standard bismuth carboxylates. Exhibits improved hydrolytic stability. Offers very good cure response and corrosion protection. Used in solvent borne 2-component (2K) isocyanate and blocked isocyanate crosslinked coatings. Bismuth carboxylate. Used as a catalyst. Offers very good corrosion resistance and chip resistance. Provides similar properties to standard tin catalysts without the environmental drawbacks. Provides very good viscosity stability /pot life. Is effective at low metal concentrations and with a variety of isocyanates and polyols. Used for automotive topcoats, high performance maintenance coatings, aerospace coatings and coatings for structural plastics. K-KAT® XK-675 is a non-yellowing non-tin catalyst by King Industries. It can be used in ambient cured 1-component silane polymers for coatings. Recommended at a dosage rate of 1-3 %. K-KAT® XK-675 has a shelf life of 24 months. K-KAT® XK-651 by King Industries is a versatile bismuth carboxylate catalyst. Provides improved hydrolytic stability, excellent gloss retention and exterior durability. It can be used in ambient, force dry and bake systems. Used in coatings for 2-component polyurethanes at a dosage level of 0.1-0.5 % and blocked isocyanates at a dosage level of 1.0-2.5 %. It is an excellent replacement for tin catalysts, many heavy metal and/ or toxic catalysts. K-KAT® XK-651 has a shelf life of 24 months.
