K-KAT® XK-651 by King Industries is a versatile bismuth carboxylate catalyst. Provides improved hydrolytic stability, excellent gloss retention and exterior durability. It can be used in ambient, force dry and bake systems. Used in coatings for 2-component polyurethanes at a dosage level of 0.1-0.5 % and blocked isocyanates at a dosage level of 1.0-2.5 %. It is an excellent replacement for tin catalysts, many heavy metal and/ or toxic catalysts. K-KAT® XK-651 has a shelf life of 24 months.
