LIQUINAT®

LIQUINAT® by Jungbunzlauer acts as acid- and pH-control agent. It is a citric acid solution produced by microbial fermentation of a carbohydrate substrate. It is chemically- & microbiologically stable, non-volatile and completely miscible in water. It provides acidity, chelates metal ions and buffers pH in paints, coatings and inks. It is strongly acidic but non-toxic, fully biodegradable and environmentally safe. LIQUINAT® is affirmed as GRAS by US FDA and complies to GMP (CFR § 184.1033) & REACH regulations.

Xanthan Gum

Xanthan Gum by Jungbunzlauer acts as a stabilizer, thickener and suspending agent. It is a hydrocolloid with excellent freeze/thaw stability, high pseudoplasticity (shear-thinning) and high viscosity at low concentration. It is suitable for inks and coatings applications.<br> <ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It helps to suspend abrasive components of polishes and solids in ceramic glazes.</li> <li>It controls rheology, stabilizes pigments and inhibits drip off in water-based paints.</li> <li>It is compatible with most commercial thickeners and stabilizers.</li> <li>It is highly resistant to pH & temperature variations and enzymatic degradation.</li> <li>Xanthan Gum complies with US FDA in accordance with 21 CFR § 172.695.</li> <li>The recommended dosage level is 0.1-0.3%.</li></ul>
