Xanthan Gum

Xanthan Gum by Jungbunzlauer acts as a stabilizer, thickener and suspending agent. It is a hydrocolloid with excellent freeze/thaw stability, high pseudoplasticity (shear-thinning) and high viscosity at low concentration. It is suitable for inks and coatings applications.
  • It helps to suspend abrasive components of polishes and solids in ceramic glazes.
  • It controls rheology, stabilizes pigments and inhibits drip off in water-based paints.
  • It is compatible with most commercial thickeners and stabilizers.
  • It is highly resistant to pH & temperature variations and enzymatic degradation.
  • Xanthan Gum complies with US FDA in accordance with 21 CFR § 172.695.
  • The recommended dosage level is 0.1-0.3%.
