LIQUINAT® by Jungbunzlauer acts as acid- and pH-control agent. It is a citric acid solution produced by microbial fermentation of a carbohydrate substrate. It is chemically- & microbiologically stable, non-volatile and completely miscible in water. It provides acidity, chelates metal ions and buffers pH in paints, coatings and inks. It is strongly acidic but non-toxic, fully biodegradable and environmentally safe. LIQUINAT® is affirmed as GRAS by US FDA and complies to GMP (CFR § 184.1033) & REACH regulations.
