Betolin™ V 30 by IQE Group is an anionic thickener with easy biological decomposition, based on polysaccharides. It is environmental friendly and also an effective stabilizer. It avoids the separation between solids and liquids and the agglomeration of fillers and pigments. To dissolve this product not only warm water but also cold water can be used. In combination with other thickeners it is possible to achieve higher levels of viscosity. It exhibits resistance to the alkalis, acids, electrolites, heat and cold. Betolin™ V 30 also react with metallic trivalent ions. Recommended applications include production of the coatings and paints. It has a shelf life of 12 months. Betolin™ P 35E by IQE Group is a highly concentrated solution of potassium silicate. It is suitable binder for silicate plasters and emulsion-silicate paints.<br>

It is a colorless, alkaline, low-viscosity, water miscible liquid that contains silanols and complex stabilizers. Improves product stability by preventing premature coagulation of the silicate binder, increases the binder’s resistance to electrolytes. Facilitates the dispersion of pigments and fillers as well as passivates reactive multivalent metal ions. Also exerts a hydrophobic effect, lengthens the wet edge time, thus facilitates application and reduces staining of colored coatings. Recommended applications include paints and coatings. Highly concentrated solution of potassium silicate. Acts as a corrosion inhibitor and adhesion promoter. It is highly stabilized and odorless. It silicifies mineral substrates to form a durable structure. Silicification and the cohesive bond ensure excellent adhesion to mineral substrates. Since the thermal expansion is the same as that of the substrate, the likelihood of cracking is reduced. The textured finishes are resistant to outdoor exposure, acts as dirt repellent, self-cleaning and lightfast. There is no blistering or flaking observed. Appropriately selected fillers provide resistance from acids and industrial gases. It passivates reactive multivalent metal ions and makes it economic because of its great stability and durability. Therefore in the formulations it enhances the wettability reduces efflorescence and staining. Recommended applications include coatings and emulsion-silicate paints. Hydrophilic alkoxylated alkylammonium compound. Acts as viscosity depressant and post-add thickener. It is a low VOC stabilizer
for potassium silicate binder. It stabilizes the polysilicate ions and thereby reduces post-thickening and strong viscosity rise. Promotes the reduction of formation of stains. It supports the incorporation of inorganic pigments and fillers and improves the Betolin binders stability to electrolytes. Recommended for use in silicate emulsion paints, plasters and colored coatings.
