Betolin™ Q 40

Hydrophilic alkoxylated alkylammonium compound. Acts as viscosity depressant and post-add thickener. It is a low VOC stabilizer for potassium silicate binder. It stabilizes the polysilicate ions and thereby reduces post-thickening and strong viscosity rise. Promotes the reduction of formation of stains. It supports the incorporation of inorganic pigments and fillers and improves the Betolin binders stability to electrolytes. Recommended for use in silicate emulsion paints, plasters and colored coatings.
