Opacilite™ by Imerys is a flash-calcined kaolin based filler. It is a first choice for TiO<sub>2</sub>.<br> <ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It offers exceptional durability and opacity both above and below the critical pigment volume concentration (CPVC).</li> <li>It is produced through rapid calcination, creating sealed voids that are impermeable to resins, solvents or water in liquid paint, enhancing wet film opacity and improving dry hiding.</li> <li>It induces micro-roughness on the film surface, creating a matting effect that significantly reduces gloss.</li> <li>Opacilite™ is ideal for satin finishes and exterior wall paints and significantly enhances scrub and UV resistance.</li> <li>Its internal voids provide opacity without binder absorption.</li>
