Concentrated aqueous (gel-free) silicone emulsion. Acts as a slip-, scratch- and mar resistance agent. It is completely free of solvents, nonylphenol (NPE) and alkylphenol ethoxylate (APE). Due to low viscosity, it incorporates easily into inks. Provides consistent high quality, dilution-stability and dependability of performance. Improves gloss, leveling and wetting. It is an economical additive for use in coatings and water-based inks. Applications include flexographic inks. Typical dosage in ink processes ranges between 0.5% and 3%. Complies with FDA, DSL and TSCA. This product is discontinued and is replaced by <a href="https://coatings.specialchem.com/product/a-dystar-masil-ultra-sl1000">Masil® Ultra SL 1000</a>.
