Foam Blast® 332

Foam Blast® 332 by DyStar is an efficient and effective, synthetic foam control agent concentrate. It is a general purpose, mineral oil- & silicone-free, self-emulsifying product. It is suitable for pulp and paper applications, where the components present will act as antifoam/defoaming agents without the downstream problems known to arise from mineral oil defoamers.<br> <ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It provides excellent foam suppression in paper coating formulations.</li> <li>It is also effective in hot or cold applications and over a broad pH range (3-10).</li> <li>Foam Blast® 332 exhibits broad indirect food contact clearances.</li> <li>The recommended addition level is 0.1-0.5%, based on weight.</li> <li>If adding into a non-aqueous media, neat addition of the product is recommended.</li></ul>

Foam Blast® 550

Foam Blast® 550 by DyStar is 100% active, non-polar, synthetic polyol-based, specialized non-silicone foam control agent. It is suitable for UV/EB-cured overprint varnishes, inks, industrial coatings and epoxies.<br> <ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It is comparable or superior to silicone antifoam compounds but is much more compatible with UV monomers and oligomers.</li> <li>It offers uniform defoaming and eliminates separation & film flaws.</li> <li>It meets the requirements of FDA 21 CFR 175.300 for use in food contact articles.</li> <li>The recommended dosage level of Foam Blast® 550 is 0.1 to 0.5%.</li></ul>

Foam Blast® 20F

Foam Blast® 20F by DyStar is zero-VOC, 100% active silicone compound designed to provide maximum foam control in UV and EB-cured inks, overprint varnishes and coating systems. It is suitable for epoxies and pigment grinding.<br> <ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It allows systems to operate at full capacity and shows little to no effect on overall leveling.</li> <li>The recommended dosage level of the grade is 0.05-0.5%.</li> <li>Foam Blast® 20F is composed of ingredients that meet the requirements of FDA 21 CFR: 175.105, 176.170, 176.180, 176.200, 176.210 & 178.3120 for food contact applications.</li></ul>

Foam Blast® 295

Foam Blast® 295 by DyStar is 55% active, low-VOC organic-silicone based foam control agent for aqueous systems. Foam Blast® 4011 by DyStar is an industrial foam control agent. It is a broad purpose, water-dispersible formulation of highly refined mineral oil, silica derivatives and mineral particles. It can also be used in the monomer stripping process to control foam. It is suitable for acrylic- & latex emulsions, architectural paints, waterborne industrial coatings, overprint varnishes and water-based flexo & gravure inks.<br> <ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It does not cause film craters or fisheyes when added.</li> <li>It is generally added in both the grind and the let-down phase in paint manufacturing.</li> <li>The recommended addition level is 2-5 pounds per 100 gallons of paint and 0.1-0.4% in graphic arts application.</li> <li>Foam Blast® 4011 is composed of ingredients that meet the current requirements of the FDA 21 CFR 175.105, 175.300, 176,170, 176.180, 176.200, 176.210, 177.1200, and 178.3120 for use in food contact applications.</li></ul>

Foam Blast® 4321

Foam Blast® 4321 by DyStar is a 100% active, non-ionic, non-silicone, mineral oil- & hydrocarbon-based defoamer. It shows quick foam killing properties and long-lasting antifoaming properties.<br> <ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It is suitable for textile dyebaths, print pastes and quelling foam in aqueous media.</li> <li>Foam Blast® 4321 offers an excellent balance of foam control and compatibility.</li> <li>It exhibits excellent stability at elevated temperatures.</li> <li>The recommended dosage level is 0.25 to 0.50% for dye baths and at 1.0-3.0 g/l for print pastes.</li></ul>

Foam Blast® 383

Foam Blast® 4201

Foam Blast® 4201 by DyStar is a VOC-free, 35% active organo-modified silicone defoamer. It contains no solvents, particulates or petroleum-based additives and does not swell in polymer print plates. It shows stability under high shear and does not reduce gloss in semi & high gloss formulations.<br> <ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It ages well in inks, maintaining its effectiveness over a long period of time.</li> <li>Foam Blast® 4201 is recommended for low-VOC architectural coatings, water-based industrial coatings, water-based flexo & gravure inks, and clear industrial & graphic arts applications.</li> <li>It is suitable for clear & pigmented aqueous systems and dispersions that contain suspended particles such as pigment grinds.</li> <li>The recommended dosage level is 0.2-0.5% for general, 0.2-0.6% for inks, and 2-4 pounds per 100 gallons of coatings.</li></ul>
