ELVAX™ 470 was part of DuPont but has been sold off to Dow. ELVAX™ 470 by Dow is an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer resin, filled with 18% wt vinyl acetate comonomer content. It contains butylated hydroxytoluene. It offers very good water vapor & gas barrier properties, toughness, flexibility and adhesion. It provides surface gloss, hardness and resistance to blocking. It can be used as a resin base for flexible, heat-sealable and hot melt coatings. ELVAX™ 470 can be used in industrial and wire coating applications. It shows very good water vapor & gas barrier properties, toughness, flexibility and improved adhesion. ELVAX™ 260 is used as a resin base for flexible, heat-sealable and hot melt coatings. ELVAX™ 560 by DOW is an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer resin, filled with 15%wt vinyl acetate comonomer content. It contains BHT antioxidant to be used as a thermal stabilizer. It possesses very good water vapor & gas barrier properties, toughness, flexibility and adhesion. It exhibits high-temperature resistance. It can be used as a resin base for flexible, heat-sealable and hot melt coatings. It can also be used as an extender and modifier. ELVAX™ 560 can be used in industrial and wire coating applications. ELVAX™ 4310 by DOW is a low molecular weight ethylene-vinyl acetate and acid terpolymer resin, filled with 25%wt vinyl acetate comonomer content and 1wt% methacrylic acid. It contains BHT antioxidant, used as a thermal stabilizer. It shows very good water vapor & gas barrier properties, toughness, flexibility, superior oil resistance and great hot tack. It imparts improved grease resistance and adhesion in low-viscosity systems. It allows maximum use level at a given viscosity in solvent or hot melt systems. It can be used as a resin base for flexible, heat-sealable and hot melt coatings. ELVAX™ 4310 can be used in industrial and wire coating applications. It contains butylated hydroxytoluene. It exhibits very good water vapor & gas barrier properties, toughness, flexibility and adhesion. It offers high-temperature resistance. It can be used as a resin base for flexible, heat-sealable and hot melt coatings. It can also be used as an extender and modifier. ELVAX™ 550 can be used in industrial and wire coating applications. ELVAX™ 4355 by DOW is a high molecular weight ethylene-vinyl acetate and acid terpolymer resin, filled with 25%wt vinyl acetate comonomer content and 1wt% methacrylic acid. It contains BHT antioxidant, used as a thermal stabilizer. It offers very good water vapor & gas barrier properties, toughness, flexibility, superior oil and grease resistance. It provides seal strength in blends with wax, great hot tack and improved adhesion to polar and nonporous substrates. It can be used as a resin base for flexible, heat-sealable and hot melt coatings. ELVAX™ 240W by DOW is an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer resin. It contains butylated hydroxytoluene and an anti-blocking and slip additive. ELVAX™ 40L-03 by DOW is a high vinyl acetate, low melt index and relatively polar ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer resin. It contains extremely low amounts of gel & BHT antioxidant and is crystalline and free flowing. It provides very good water vapor and gas barrier properties. It gives low crystallinity, high viscosity, good heat resistance and high molecular weight. ELVAX™ 40L-03 can be used as a resin base for flexible, heat-sealable and hot melt coatings. ELVAX™ 750 by DOW is an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer resin, filled with 9%wt vinyl acetate comonomer content. It contains BHT antioxidant to be used as a thermal stabilizer. It imparts toughness, flexibility, adhesion and high-temperature resistance. It exhibits very good water vapor and gas barrier properties. It can be used as a resin base for flexible, heat-sealable and hot melt coatings. It can also be used as an extender and modifier. ELVAX™ 750 can be used in wire coating and industrial applications. Complies with Food and Drug Administration Regulation 21 CFR 177.1350(a)(1). ELVAX™ 150W by DOW is an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer resin, suitable for solvent-based coatings. It contains 32wt% vinyl acetate comonomer content, "W" amide additive and slip and BHT antioxidant to be used as a thermal stabilizer. It provides very good water vapor & gas barrier properties, toughness, flexibility and very good adhesion to nonporous surfaces. It can be used as a resin base for flexible, heat-sealable hot melt coatings. ELVAX™ 150W can be used in wire coating and industrial applications. Complies with FDA regulation 21 CFR 177.1350(a)(1).
