ELVAX™ 4310 by DOW is a low molecular weight ethylene-vinyl acetate and acid terpolymer resin, filled with 25%wt vinyl acetate comonomer content and 1wt% methacrylic acid. It contains BHT antioxidant, used as a thermal stabilizer. It shows very good water vapor & gas barrier properties, toughness, flexibility, superior oil resistance and great hot tack. It imparts improved grease resistance and adhesion in low-viscosity systems. It allows maximum use level at a given viscosity in solvent or hot melt systems. It can be used as a resin base for flexible, heat-sealable and hot melt coatings. ELVAX™ 4310 can be used in industrial and wire coating applications. Complies with Food and Drug Administration Regulation 21 CFR 177.1350(a)(1).
