Coapur™ 817 W distributed by DKSH is a pure HEUR associative polyurethane thickener. It can be used sole or in combination with other polyurethane thickeners or with other types of rheology modifiers such as acrylic or cellulosic thickeners.<br>
<ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It increases specifically viscosities at medium and high shear rates in order to improve tool load.</li>
<li>It is APEO-free, heavy metal-free, solvent-free, and resistant to bacteria.
<li>It offers excellent compatibility, easy handling, and is ready to use with post-addition capabilities.</li>
<li>It ensures storage stability through viscosity control, maintains in-can appearance, and resists settling and syneresis.</li>
<li>In application, it provides spatter resistance, good brushability, film build, and rollability.</li>
<li>The resulting film exhibits excellent rub-out, leveling properties, as well as anticorrosion and chemical resistance.</li>
<li>Coapur™ 817 W is used in architectural coating, graphic arts, industrial coatings, traffic paint, textile and leather coatings.</li>
<li>Recommended dosage level is 0.1-0.6% for sole thickener in semi-gloss and satin dispersion paints, 0.3-1% for sole thickener in one-coat matt dispersion paints and 0.05-0.4% as combined with a low shear effective thickener in high PVC matt dispersion paints.</li>

<li>During storage, it maintains antisettling, viscosity stability, a good in-can appearance and syneresis resistance.</li>

<li>The resulting film provides water resistance, anticorrosion, chemical resistance, and a high gloss finish.</li>
<li>Additionally, it is APEO-free, heavy metal-free, solvent-free, and resistant to bacteria.</li>
<li>Coapur™ 6050 is used in architectural coating, graphic arts, industrial coatings, textile and leather coating.</li>
<li>Recommended dosage level is 0.2-2% of dry product of total weight of formulation.</li>

It can be used sole or in combination either with other polyurethane thickeners or with any type of rheology modifiers such as acrylic or cellulosic thickeners, acting at low shear rates. It is APEO-, heavy metal-, solvent- free grade.<br>
<ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It is designed to interact with the binder of the formulation, in order to control the rheology selectively at high shear rates with the most limited impact at low and medium shear rates.</li>
<li>It offers excellent color acceptance, compatibility, easy handling, and is ready for post-addition use.</li>
<li>During storage, it ensures syneresis resistance and viscosity stability.</li>
<li>In application, it provides good film build, brushability, rollability, and spatter resistance, as well as temperature and tinting resistance.</li>
<li>The resulting film exhibits gloss and water resistance.</li>
<li>It helps match the highest coating quality possible for water-based formulations by achieving the best flow and leveling.</li>
<li>ICoapur™ XS 12 is used in architectural coating, graphic arts, industrial coating, textile & leather coating and inks.</li>
<li>Recommended dosage level is 0.5-3% as sole thickener in lacquers, gloss and semi-gloss dispersion paints and 0.5-2% combined with a medium and low shear effective thickener both based on solids content.</li>
<li>It has a shelf life of 1 year.</li></ul>
