DELTA S® 95

by Delta Specialties

Multi-functional additive. Provides anti-foaming property, excellent wetting properties, pH and stability. Can substitute ammonia and thus reduces odor during production and in the final paint. Reduces in-can corrosion and flash rusting. Improves color acceptance, thickener performance, scrub and water resistance. Regarded as an effective co-dispersant preventing re agglomeration of pigments. Possesses good hiding power and good stability. Used in coatings and paints.

DELTA S® 5220

by Delta Specialties

DELTA S® 5220 by Delta Specialties is a multi-functional dispersion control additive. Stabilizes all kinds of pigments and extenders. Specially designed to make the polar ingredients of universal colorants. Reduces flooding and floating in pigment mixtures. Increases storage stability of the system. Makes polar ingredients of universal colorants more compatible with non-polar solvent-based paints into which they may be incorporated. Develops maximum color of the colorant. Gives optimum color acceptance of universal colorants in the base paints. Often added along with other dispersion control additives to reduce mill-base viscosity. Is suitable for the preparation of slurries. Used in architectural paints, coil coating and wood coating.

DELTA S® PN

by Delta Specialties

Blend of carboxylic acid derivatives. Is a liquid rheology control additive with a unique thixotropic profile. Builds its thixotropic structure through interaction of its molecules with the reactive groups distributed over the polymer of the latex emulsion or thickener. Interaction occurs through hydrogen and covalent bonding with active sites of the polymer, thus creating a network of structure. Develops an anti-settling property. Prevents pigment separation in formulations containing more than one type of pigment. The network structure almost completely breaks enabling good flow and leveling of the coating upon shear and during coating application. The network structure rebuilds again preventing sagging of the coating after shear removal. Is capable of cross-linking in the final dry film and helps in increasing scrub resistance. Compatible with acrylic, styrene acrylic and vinyl acetate polymer systems. Also compatible with all well-known cellulose, acrylic and polyurethane thickener types. Can be used in matt, semi-gloss and high-gloss exterior and interior coating systems.

DELTA S® 5700

by Delta Specialties

Solution of ketoxime and phosphorous ester salt. Is an anti-gel agent and viscosity stabilizer. Prevents thickning which can occur as a result of oxidation or condensation of the binder. Reduces the reaction of the pigments with the vehicle. Can significantly prolong the shelf life of a coating. Used in air drying alkyds and stoving coating systems.

DELTA S® 5225

by Delta Specialties

DELTA S® 5225 by Delta Specialties is a 100% active, APE-free wetting and dispersing agent. It is a solvent-free fatty acid-based polymer. It stabilizes all kinds of pigments and extenders in water- and solvent-based systems. It offers lower viscosity, higher pigment loading in colorants, improved color strength, higher gloss, and luster.

It is effective with metallic flakes and special effect pigments.

Recommended dosage level is 5.0-10.0% for inorganic pigments, 10.0-20.0% for organic pigments and 0.5-1.5% on total base weight for post-addition in bases.

Applications of DELTA S® 5225 include VOC-free universal colorant, decorative & architectural coatings and nitrocellulose-based flexographic- & screen-printing inks.
