Dispelair® CF 697

Dispelair® CF 697 by Blackburn Chemicals is a foam control agent and excellent defoamer for solvent-based and solvent-free coatings. It is used in a wide range of aqueous & non-aqueous systems and decorative emulsion paints. It is used very successfully to eliminate foam in the production of inks and pigment dispersions. This additive is also suitable for matt, silk and gloss paints, wood coatings and varnishes. It is effective at very low concentrations. It is SVHC Label- & mineral oil- free, helps with process productivity and also shows high dispersibility in water. A typical addition level would be between 0.1% and 0.5% in total depending on the severity of the foam problem. Dispelair® CF 697 complies with the indirect food contact regulations listed in 21CFR: 176.210 & 175.105. Also, complies with the Swiss Ordinance Annex 10 and plastics directive EU 10/2011. The shelf life of this product is 12 months.
