n-Propanol® by BASF acts as a very pure, clear, polar, mobile, colorless, neutral solvent for coatings and inks industry. Possesses average voaltility and a characteristic alcoholic odor. Shows less tendency to absorb water. Exhibits free miscibility with water and all common organic solvents such as alcohols, ketones, aldehydes, ethers, glycols, aromatic and aliphatic hydrocarbons. n-Propanol® is used for flexographic and other printing inks, for coatings applications like electrodeposition paints and baking finishes.
