Darocur® 4265 by BASF is a highly efficient liquid curing agent, alpha-hydroxyketone. Offers good solubility in common UV reactive systems including systems based on acrylates or unsaturated polyesters. Darocur® 4265 is used after adequate testing for UV curable transparent and pigmented wood finishes as well as white UV inks. Darocur® MBF by BASF acts as photoinitiator. It is phenyl glyoxylic acid methyl ester. It offers very good surface curing properties (stain resistance) and low color properties. Darocur® MBF is used for floor coatings, furniture coatings, plastic and metal coatings, UV curable and UV stabilized coatings. Darocur® TPO by BASF is a highly efficient curing agent. Acts as a photoinitiator, in combination with mono- or multifunctional monomers as reactive thinners, in UV curable formulations for clear and pigmented coatings on wood, metal, plastic, paper and printing inks. Offers good solubility in common UV reactive systems such as systems based on acrylates or unsaturated polyesters. Can be used as the sole photoinitiator or in combination with other photoinitiators like alpha-hydroxy ketones. Recommended dosage level of Darocur® TPO is 1-5 %. Darocur® BP by BASF is a photoinitiator for various applications using UV coatings. Designed to initiate radical photopolymerization of unsaturated resins such as those based on a prepolymer like acrylates - in combination with mono- or multifunctional monomers. It can significantly be improved when used in combination with amine-synergists (tertiary amine compounds and amine acrylates). Recommended dosage level of Darocur® BP is 2.0-8.0%.
