Imparts improved light-fastness to lacquer formulations. It is recommended for cellulosic derivatives as well as natural resins such as dammar and ester gums.

Offers formulators a unique combination of environmentally friendly features. It is neither "Volatile Organic Compound" (VOC) nor "Hazardous Air Pollutant" (HAP) and combine efficient plasticization of polymers with low toxicity, high flash points and rapid biodegradability. It is for both cellulosic and vinyl resins. In recent years, Citroflex™ 4 has found utility as a plasticizer in polylactic acid resins as a biodegradable component. As a plasticizer in furniture coatings it provides improved light stability in cellulose acetate formulations. A special quality Citroflex™ 4 sold as TBC, PG, is used in pharmaceutical coatings.
