Berset® 2125

by aurorium

Berset® 2125 by aurorium is a glyoxal-based reactant and acts as a highly-effective crosslinking agent. Crosslinks all normally used synthetic and natural binders. Offers good wet rub resistance and good wet pick-up resistance. Shows compatibility with most coatings additives. Provides coating formulations exhibiting stable viscosity. Approved by FDA for use in paper and paperboard industry. Used in most types of paper coatings, but is more effective in starch-containing coatings.

Berset® 2196

by aurorium

Glyoxal based reactant. Acts as an extremely effective crosslinking agent. Crosslinks all normally used synthetic and natural binders in pigmented or non-pigmented systems. Offers good wet rub resistance off the machine and good wet pick up resistance. Provides coatings exhibiting stable viscosity. Shows very less reactivity during coating preparation but greatly accelerated reactivity during the drying process. Also shows a high pH value and requires less alkali to buffer the pH of the coatings. Used in most types of paper coatings systems.

Berset® 2700

by aurorium

Cyclic Amide Condensate. Acts as an economical, effective crosslinking agent. Offers good wet rub resistance off the machine and good wet pick up resistance. Provides coatings exhibiting stable viscosity. Shows greatly accelerated reactivity only in the drying process. Maintains uniform viscosities in starch, protein or synthetic binder systems. Approved by FDA in paper and paperboard industry. Used in most types of paper coatings systems.

Berset® 2185

by aurorium

Glyoxal based reactant. Acts as a highly-effective crosslinking agent. Offers good wet rub resistance off the machine and good wet pick up resistance. Provides coatings containing starch or protein binders exhibiting stable viscosity. Imparts very good printing properties. Shows accelerated reactivity in the drying process. Approved by FDA for use in paper and paperboard industry. Used in most types of paper coatings, but most effective in starch containing coatings.

Berset® 2003

by aurorium

Melamine formaldehyde resin. Acts as a crosslinker for starch, protein, P.V.A., and latex binders in pigmented and non-pigmented coatings. Gives little or no effect on coating viscosities. Use of this crosslinker in conventional or size press coatings greatly improves the wet and dry pick of the coated surface. Offers good wet rub resistance and good wet pick up resistance. Provides very good storage stability, and low formaldehdye odor. Exhibits good printing properties. Approved by FDA in paper and paperboard industry. Used in pigmented or unpigmented treatments to improve the printing properties of the paper.
