Proxel® GXL by Arxada is a preservative used for industrial water-based products against spoilage from bacteria, yeasts, and fungi. It has a non-specific mode of action which means that bacterial resistance is very unlikely to occur. <br>
<ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li> It boils without flashing and is stable in the presence of amines. </li>
<li> The concentration of Proxel® GXL required to adequately preserve a product depends on several factors which include susceptibility of the system to microbiological degradation, extent to which micro-organisms can gain access, species involved, pH, temperature, and length of time for which protection is required. </li>
<li> Proxel® GXL is suitable for use in synthetic polymer emulsions, emulsion paints, printing inks, paper coating compositions. </li>
<li> The recommended dosage is 0.05-0.15% w/w for the applications. </li> </ul> Proxel® BZ Plus by Arxada is an antibacterial/anti-fungal preservative. It is an aqueous dispersion of a blend of 1,2-benzisothiazolin-3-one and zinc 2-pyridine-thiol-1- oxide.<br> <ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li> It offers effective control of a wide range of bacterial and fungal organisms at economic concentrations.</li> <li> It exhibits long-term storage stability.</li> <li> It provides ease of use due to its liquid form and very good compatibility in most aqueous systems.</li> <li> Proxel® BZ Plus is used in paints and stains.</li> </ul> Proxel® AQ by Arxada is a zero VOC, broad-spectrum biocide, stable under normal conditions of storage. It is incompatible with some oxidizing and reducing agents like persalts, sulfites. Proxel® AQ is used in a wide range of water-based industrial aqueous paints, inks and paper coating compositions. Proxel® BN by Arxada is a solvent-free, zero VOC, broad-spectrum, in-can preservative. It protects against spoilage from bacteria, yeasts and fungi. Proxel® BN is used in industrial water-based coatings. Proxel® BD20 by Arxada is an efficient microbiostat preservative. Offers effective control over a wide range of organisms at economic concentrations. Exhibits long-term storage stability and ease of use due to its liquid form and good compatibility in most aqueous compositions. It is free from VOC and formaldehyde. Proxel® BD20 is used in paper coatings. Proxel® BZ by Arxada is an aqueous dispersion of 1-2-benzisothiazolin-3-one and zinc 2- pyridinethiol-1-oxide. Used for latex emulsions and paints. Proxel® BZ prevents growth of even high concentrations of fungal organisms. It is used in industrial water-based products. Proxel® TN by Arxada is an aqueous solution of 1,2-benzisothiazolin-3-one and hexahydro-1,3,5-tris(2-hydroxyethyl)-s-triazine. Used as a dual active broad-spectrum biocide for preservation of industrial water-based products such as inks, ink concentrates and emulsion paints.<br>
<ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It is based on acrylate, butadiene, PVA, styrene and other monomer latices and paints and stains (in-can preservation) against spoilage from bacteria, yeasts and fungi.</li>
<li>Proxel® TN offers quick microbial kill, long-term protection and enhanced headspace protection in container.</li></ul> Proxel® LS by Arxada is a a broad-spectrum wet state preservative. It provides protection of water-based industrial products. It is dual active, temperature stable with anti-microbial effect. Proxel® LS is used in paints and coating application. Proxel® BC by Arxada is wet state preservative. It is free from VOC, formaldehyde, Proxel® BC shows fast acting properties and non-alkaline formulation for pH sensitive system. Proxel® BC is used in emulsion paint & stain and paper coating. Proxel® XL2 by Arxada is a wet state preservative. It is an aqueous propylene glycol solution of 1,2-benzisothiazolin-3-one. It is free of formaldehyde, CMIT and MIT. Proxel® XL2 is used as a broad-spectrum biocide for preservation of industrial water-based products such as emulsion paint, printing inks and paper coating compositions.
