SAYTEX® BT-93

SAYTEX® BT-93 by Albemarle is an ethylenebistetrabromophthalimide that combines stable, aromatic bromine with an imide structure. Used as a flame retardant in paints. Suits with polyolefins, high-impact polystyrene (HIPS), thermoplastic polyesters (PBT, PET,etc.), polycarbonate and elastomers. It possesses outstanding thermal and UV stability, and non-blooming properties. SAYTEX® BT-93 offers very good wet electrical properties.

SAYTEX® CP-2000

Hightly pure tetrabromobisphenol A flame retardant containing very stable aromatic bromine. Used as a reactive intermediate with epoxy, vinyl esters and polycarbonate systems, or as additive in ABS. Provides very good processability, impact strength and moderate-range UV stability. Can be used with a synergist such as antimony oxide for maximum flame retardant performance.

SAYTEX® 120
