Ethacure® 100 by Albemarle acts as an amine curing agent for polyurethanes and epoxies. It is highly pure and easy to blend 100% active curatives. It can be used as a chain extender for polyurethane and polyurea elastomers and as an antioxidant for elastomers. It provides good wetting and exceptional chemical resistance in epoxies. Ethacure® 100 is used in polyurethane coatings, polyurea spray coating systems and coatings for concrete and aggregate flooring. Other applications include tank coatings, pipeline coatings, manhole and sewer linings, flooring and parking decks, bridge coatings, truckbed liners, railcar linings, joint fillers/caulks and roof coatings. Ethacure® 520 by Albemarle acts as an effective curing agent and chain extender. It is a mixture of aromatic diamines. It is miscible in methanol, heptane & toluene but partially miscible in water. Ethacure® 520 is particularly suitable for use in polyurethane and polyurea coatings. Aromatic diamine curing agent for polyurethanes. Possesses a low chronic toxicity. Used as a slower chain-extender for polyurethane-urea and polyurea elastomers in hand-applied and spray coating applications alone or in blends with other amine curing agent. Ethacure® 420 by Albemarle is N,N’-Bis(sec-butylamino)diphenylmethane. Ethacure® 420 is used in tank coatings, pipeline coatings, bridge coatings and roof coatings. Low-color aromatic amine curing agent for polyurethanes, polyurea and epoxies. Used in polyurethane coatings, polyurea spray coating systems and coatings for concrete and aggregate flooring. Can be used as a chain extender for polyurethane and polyurea elastomers and as an antioxidant for elastomers. Produces a curative with low initial color and increased color stability. Ethacure® 90 by Albemarle is an aliphatic diamine. Acts as a chain extender for aliphatic and aromatic B-side formulations in sprayed as well as hand-applied coatings. Has low reactivity and highly compatible diamine chemistry. Provides improved cure-rate control as well as the pot life. Its lower viscosity and higher flow rates allow sprayed coatings to adhere more closely to rough surfaces and penetrate areas where thicker coatings might tend to bridge. The coating finishes are smoother and more attractive, without that undesirable “orange peel” effect. Ethacure® 90 is used in bridge, concrete, pipe, tank, roofing, flooring and decks coatings. Ethacure® 534 by Albemarle is a mixture of aromatic diamines. Acts as an effective curing agent/chain extender. It is miscible in methanol, heptane & toluene but partially miscible in water. Ethacure® 534 is particularly suitable for use in polyurethane and polyurea coatings.
