NIKANE® MS 5000 by Advancion (formerly ANGUS) is a multifunctional solvent grade. Exhibits medium evaporation rate, unique properties afford economical approach and improves film properties. Specifically, it has mid-range evaporation rate that is highly desirable for improved dry-time performance of films. It prevents surface skinning of the film, form azeotropes with numerous solvents, increase the vapor pressure of the solvent blends to speed the release of the solvent from the film. Recommended dosage of NIKANE® MS 5000 is in the range of 10-25% replacement of the total solvent system. NIKANE® MS 3000 by Advancion (formerly ANGUS) is a multifunctional solvent. Improves pigment/surface wetting, film integrity and solvent release properties. It optimizes latent solvent or diluent levels for economy and performance. It is an oxygenated solvent that possesses weak hydrogen bond and extremely high solubility parameters. NIKANE® MS 3000 acts as an excellent solvent for the formulation of nitrocellulose lacquers.
