AEPD® (Coating ingredients)

Admex™ by Eastman Chemical Company is a range of polymeric plasticizers for durable flexible PVC applications. These plasticizers enable flexible PVC to compete with rubber and thermoplastic elastomers in a variety of applications.

They exhibit the molecular weight necessary for vinyl products to withstand long-term outdoor exposure, elevated temperatures, and prolonged contact with solvents. Admex™ polymeric plasticizers are used in dry blends, plastisols, and organosols.

AEPD® VOX 1000

AEPD® VOX 1000 by Advancion (formerly ANGUS) is a neutralizing amine-based viscosity depressant. It has a very mild odor, high boiling point and low vapor pressure. It helps control pH, while improving pigment dispersion, resulting in lower primary dispersant levels.<br> <ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It is high purity, thermally stable and resistant to yellowing</li> <li>It is used as a compatibilizer and stabilizer for emulsions and water-based formulations.</li> <li>It also acts as co-dispersant for pigments, extenders, and other particulate and slurry systems.</li> <li>It helps to extend the microbial resistance in certain waterborne formulations (including mineral slurries) when used in combination with approved biocides, supporting the development of green label/ eco-label coatings formulations.</li> <li>AEPD® VOX 1000 is ideal for low-VOC, low-emission waterborne paints and coatings.</li> <li>It is suitable for use in water-based architectural & industrial coatings, automotive coatings, inks and overprint varnish.</li></ul>
