LIPATON™ SB 5521 by Synthomer is a film forming aids-, coalescents-, APEO-, solvents- and plasticizers-free, finely dispersed aqueous dispersion of a carboxylated styrene-butadiene copolymer and contains an anionic emulsifier system.
- It is a hydrophobic and elastic polymer with very low water uptake.
- It offers excellent stone-chip-, impact- and salt-spray resistance and excellent adhesion to metal.
- It provides good compatibility with combination binders e.g. alkyd-emulsions or water-borne alkyds and hardness can be improved with metal driers.
- It is recommended for anti-corrosive primers and underbody coatings.
- The shelf life of LIPATON™ SB 5521 is 12 months.
