Permanent Red FGR 02 by Sudarshan Chemical Industries is a naphthol AS-based, transparent, signal red pigment (Pigment Red 112, CI 12370). It exhibits very good fastness to light and weathering even in medium reductions, making it an ideal alternative to toluidine red pigments when their fastness properties are not adequate.
- It has a darker, more transparent full shade in air-drying paints and has up to 10% greater tinctorial strength than Permanent® Red FGR.
- It offers excellent acid-, alkali- & water fastness, high tinting strength and brilliance.
- Due to the risk of blooming, it can be used in full shades for stoving enamels.
- It is suitable for decorative paints, industrial coatings, water-based paints, air-drying alkyds, physically drying paints and acid-cured paints.
- Permanent Red FGR 02 is also used in paste inks (sheetfed, heatset, coldset & UV curing offset), liquid inks (NC alcohol, NC acetate, water-based, polyvinyl butyral & UV curing flexo) as well as solvent- & water-based packaging gravure and flexographic printing inks.
