Techpolymer™ MB30X-5Y by Sekisui Kasei acts as a matting agent. Exhibits good mechanical- and solvent resistance. It is a highly cross-linked copolymer of methyl methacrylate and ethyleneglycol dimethacrylate. Its mean particle diameter is between 4.0-6.0 µm. It shows good water dispersibility and therefore it is suitable for waterborne formulation. Techpolymer™ MB30X-5Y is used for many kind of applications such as plastic-, automotive interior-, wood- and coil coating.
