Tallicin® K-7 by Pflaumer Brothers acts as a dispersing agent and efficient flushing aid. It has multiple cationic anchor groups that can be used to disperse inorganic and organic pigments. It is suitable for systems containing petroleum oils or solvents traditionally used in offset ink, publication gravure and industrial maintenance coatings.
- It improves pigment wetting, color development and storage stability.
- It offers reduced viscosity, higher brightness and gloss.
- It allows a formulator to reduce the viscosity of the millbase or increase the pigment loading.
- It reduces production time leading to improved efficiency in the production of flushed colorants and lower cost production.
- Recommended dosage level is 5-20% based upon dry organic pigment weight and 2-5% on the dry weight of inorganic pigment and 5-7% of the dry pigment weight for flushed colors.
