Tallicin® K-9 by Pflaumer Brothers is a polymeric dispersant with multiple anchor groups that can be used to disperse inorganic and organic pigments. It improves pigment wetting, color development and storage stability. It is used in solvent-based coatings, industrial maintenance coatings, offset inks and powder coatings. <br>
<ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It is effective in reducing viscosity for dispersions of both oxidized and non-oxidized carbon black. </li>
<li>It allows the formulator to increase the pigment loading in the mill base, thus improving both efficiency and cost of production. </li>
<li>Recommended dosage level is 2 and 20% based upon pigment weight if the surface area of the pigment is unknown. </li></ul> Tallicin® K-8 by Pflaumer Brothers acts as a dispersing agent. It is used for concrete floor coatings that provide exceptional flow and leveling, extended working time for easy application. <br>

<li>It requires one-step application-no topcoat needed. </li>
<li>It can be applied at <40°F and can be steam cleaned. </li>

<li>Urethane polymer concrete based on Tallicin® E-27 is also odorless, non-porous, relatively nontoxic, essentially zero-VOC, and USDA accepted for use in food plant operations. </li>
<li>It has shelf life of 6 months. </li></ul> Tallicin® EXP E-26 by Pflaumer Brothers is a formulated emulsion of castor oil polyol for 3-component polyurethane polymer concrete. It can be used by itself as part A or can be modified with various additives to achieve special performance characteristics. It is odorless, non-porous, relatively non-toxic, essentially zero-VOC, and USDA accepted grade. <br>

It has multiple cationic anchor groups that can be used to disperse inorganic and organic pigments. It is suitable for systems containing petroleum oils or solvents traditionally used in offset ink, publication gravure and industrial maintenance coatings. <br>

<li>It offers reduced viscosity, higher brightness and gloss.</li>
<li>It allows a formulator to reduce the viscosity of the millbase or increase the pigment loading. </li>
<li>It reduces production time leading to improved efficiency in the production of flushed colorants and lower cost production. </li>
<li>Recommended dosage level is 5-20% based upon dry organic pigment weight and 2-5% on the dry weight of inorganic pigment and 5-7% of the dry pigment weight for flushed colors. </li></ul> Tallicin® Dispersant K-2 by Pflaumer Brothers is a solvent-based wetting and dispersing agent for both organic and inorganic pigments. It is suitable for all systems containing petroleum solvents, petroleum oils, and oxygenated solvents. It is effective for vehicle types such as alkyds, acrylics, drying oils, saturated polyesters, epoxy esters, two-component epoxies, oil-modified urethanes, vinyls and amino resins. <br>
<ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>Its well-balanced surface-active functionality optimizes the dispersion of almost all pigments and extenders, including such difficult to disperse pigments as phthalo blue, phthalo green and carbon black. </li>
<li> It overcomes the problems like flocculation, flooding, floating and color development. </li>
<li>It is most effective for titanium dioxide. </li>
<li>Tint color more readily accepted into white base offering higher pigment loadings. </li>
<li>It is used in coatings applications.</li>
<li>Recommended dosage level is 0.5-2.0% based on inorganic pigments and 2.0-4.0% based on organic pigments. </li></ul> Tallicin® 4584 by Pflaumer Brothers is a liquid benzotriazole-type UV absorber. It is designed for conventional solvent-based coatings, two-component coatings and radiation-cured coatings systems. Its liquid form allows easy formulation into water-based systems. A synergistic effect can be achieved in combination with a hindered amine light stabilizer, resulting in significant improvements in light fastness and weathering. <br>
<ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It is miscible in most solvents commonly used in paints and coatings. </li>
<li>It is compatible with various resins, including acrylic, alkyd, urethane, polyester, and radiation-cured monomers and oligomers. </li>
<li>It is recommended in combination with a HALS for use in industrial coatings,
automotive coatings, wood stains, paints and varnishes, both clear and pigmented. </li>
<li>It provides resistance to effects of weathering, including loss of gloss, cracking, fading, blistering etc. </li>
<li>Recommended dosage level is 1.0-3.0% for industrial, automotive coatings, wood finishes and plastics coatings by weight based on finished formula in combination with 0.5-2.0% HALS. </li></ul> Tallicin® 3000 by Pflaumer Brothers is a pot life extender for 2K polyurethane systems catalyzed with trimer type aliphatic polyisocyanates. It is added to the polyol component and acts to "block" the hydroxyl groups from reacting with the isocyanate, in many cases doubling the pot life of the system. It helps in extending the use requirements for trimer-type polyurethanes designed to meet today's needs for high solids and high performance. <br>
<ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It acts through the process of evaporation with the dry times typically extended. </li>
<li>It is compatible with polyester, polyether, polyacrylate resins and functions well in all systems. </li>
<li>Promotes wet edge and open time in pigmented systems and can be used with organotin and tertiary amine cure promoters. </li>
<li>Its applications include automotive, transport, coil, plastics, industrial and marine coatings. </li>
<li>Recommended dosage level is 1.0% to 1.5% by weight of the polyol and its higher level may be required in systems having a relatively short pot life. </li>
<li>Tallicin® 3000 has shelf life of 9 months from date of shipment. </li></ul> Tallicin® 1500 by Pflaumer Brothers acts as a flow and levelling agent. It is silicone-free and fugitive from the film. It improves sharpness of gloss, eliminate bubbling, cratering and pinholes without adverse effect on other formulation’s properties such as chemical and water resistance. <br>
<ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It contributes to inter-coat adhesion and eliminates surface defects, particularly in high solids applications. </li>
<li>It exhibits extremely high solvency and a very low evaporation rate. </li>
<li>It has demonstrated wide compatibility with most vehicles and coatings systems. </li>
<li>It reduces the viscosity of alkyd formulations and improve the flow characteristics of nitrocellulose lacquers and of both two-component and oil-modified urethane systems. </li>
<li>It offers good brushability. </li>
<li>Tallicin® 1500 is applicable for lacquers, spray systems, baking finishes, gloss paints, coatings and varnishes. </li>
<li>Recommended dosage level is 2-3%, based on total weight to provide good flow, leveling, wet edge and open time. </li></ul> Tallicin® 5311 by Pflaumer Brothers is a silicone surfactant for mar resistance, flow and leveling. It is effective in high solids systems, even at a relatively low level of use, and is compatible with a wide range of vehicles, including urethanes, nitrocellulose, polyesters, epoxies, vinyls and acrylics. It is an organomodified siloxane designed for the reduction of mar without the decrease in coefficient of friction. <br>
<ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It is effective for bubble release and pinholes. </li>
<li>Tallicin® 5311 enhances flow characteristics of solvent-based systems without fisheyes or cratering. </li>
<li>Recommended dosage level is as low as 0.125% based on total formulation weight. </li></ul>
