EXOhib PC400 by PCC Exol is a corrosion inhibitor and wetting agent. It is a mixture of amino boranes and is provided in the form of approx. 50% aqueous solution. It allows to moisture steel surfaces, without any phosphates or nitrites. It is highly compatible with acrylic, styrene-acrylic and vinyl-acrylic dispersions as well as with vinyl acetate copolymers.
  • It is used in waterborne paints, in particular applied on steel surfaces.
  • It is applied in the form of an anti-flash rust additive preventing the rust film while drying.
  • It is used as a substitute for sodium nitrite.
  • It is stable in hard water and has low foaming properties.
  • It is non-animal tested and complies with ADR regulations.
  • The recommended dosage level of EXOhib PC400 in anticorrosive-, matt and gloss paint is 0.3-0.6% by weight.
