EXOdis PC185 by PCC Exol is a wetting- and low foaming agent with very low VOC & SVOC content. It is a mixture of non-ionic surfactants. It exhibits a synergistic effect in combination with commonly used polyacrylate-based dispersants, facilitating the wetting of pigments and fillers during the dispersing process.
- It shows a positive effect on the properties of finished paints, such as viscosity, viscosity stability, and pigment compatibility after the tinting process.
- It possesses strong tendency to reduce surface tension and also allows reduction of coating defects such as craters or fisheyes.
- It is biodegradable, non-animal tested and free of alkylphenol ethoxylates, allergen & nanomaterials.
- It shows very good compatibility with components such as inorganic pigments, wetting & dispersing agents, rheology modifiers and anti-foaming agents.
- EXOdis PC185 is used in the production of water-thinnable paints and varnishes, specifically white paints.
- The recommended dosage level is 0.1-1% in finished paint products.
