CoatOSil™ M120XB by Momentive Performance Materials is a hard methyl silicone resin. Available as 50% solution in xylene. Acts as a corrosion inhibitor. It is suitable for the formulation of heat-resistant anti-corrosive coatings and heat-stable anti-stick finishes. Compatible with straight methyl silicone resins or oils. It is recommended for applications including waste gas stacks, blast furnace gas pipes and cracking plants. Coatings based on CoatOSil™ M120XB can dry at room temperature so it has excellent weather stability and release properties.
